5 movie theater Etiquette tips that everyone should know

1. Dont bring under age kids to a rated R movie: Why would you bring a kid to a rated R movie to begin with, thats just crazy. They do not need to see or hear half the stuff that is said in a rated R, thats why its rated R! If its a scary movie, do not bring a kid in there. Some kids dont understand that that stuff is fake, they will cry and scream and have nightmares. Just wait until the kids a little bit older to bring them in there, for the kids sake, and the people who came to enjoy the movie.

2. Get A Room: Dont you hate it when your trying to enjoy a movie and the people next to you wont stop sucking on eachothers faces. Why pay $10 to go sit down and kiss, you can do that at home, and nobody wants to see that. Watch the movie then afterwards kiss all you want too. Holding hands is okay, that wont bother people too much, but when you're making all that noise, people do not want to see or hear that, so just wait people please!

3. Come early to the movies: Dont you hate when your already 5 mins into the movie and a group of people decided they want to walk in and find a seat right in the middle of the theater, making noise and distracting everyone. Just come early, they post the times on the websites for a reason. Come early, so you dont miss the begining of the movie and the rest of the movie goers can enjoy a movie with no interruptions.

4. No Texting/Tweeting/facebooking: Even when you dim your phone light all the way down, it's still a distraction for everyone in the theater. The tweets can wait, the text can wait, but if it cant wait, please leave the theater out of respect for the other people who want to enjoy the movie. And the same thing with phone calls, unless it's a emergency please dont answer the phone during the movie.

5. Be quiet!: Dont talk. It's as simple as that. People hate it when they are trying to enjoy a movie and someone in the theater keeps talking. It's okay if your talking low, and no one around you can hear you besides the perosn you're talking too. But the whole theater should not be able ot hear you. You would be mad if someone else did it, so don't do it yourself.
